Poacher Camps: A New Opportunity

While exploring the islands of Palworld, you may stumble upon Poacher camps full of human enemies protecting a captured Pal in a locked cage. These camps can be a great opportunity to acquire new Pals, but they can also be challenging to clear, especially if the enemy levels are high.

How to Use Poacher Camps to Your Advantage

The key to successfully clearing Poacher camps is to use the human enemies' AI to your advantage. As long as the enemies are distracted by another Pal or a wild Pal in combat, they rarely interrupt you while you're unlocking the caged Pal.

To create a distraction, you can use one of your own Pals that is above the level of the Poachers or a Pal that has been buffed up using Pal Souls at the Statue of Power. It's also helpful if your Pal has an attack with a decent AoE range to pull the attention of all the camp members.

The Distract and Unlock Method

Here's a step-by-step guide to using the distract and unlock method:

1. Find a Poacher camp with a captured Pal in a locked cage.
2. Use one of your Pals to create a distraction by attacking the enemies or using a Pal with a high-level attack.
3. While the enemies are distracted, run up to the cage lock and interact with it to unlock it.
4. Once the cage is unlocked, the Pal inside will automatically become yours and will be transferred to your Palbox.
5. Quickly leave the camp to avoid any further danger.

Alternatively, you can also use high-level wild Pals to create a distraction. Simply fire an arrow at the wild Pal to get its attention, then lead it towards the Poacher camp. When the wild Pal gets close enough, the enemies will attack it, allowing you to circle back and unlock the cage.

The Benefits of Using Poacher Camps

Using Poacher camps to acquire new Pals can be a great way to supplement your resources and build your team. While it's not the most efficient way to get Pals, it's a much better method than spending thousands of resources at a Pal Vendor or Black Market NPC.

Additionally, you may be able to acquire lower-level versions of Pals that are typically found in higher-level zones. This can be a great way to get ahead of the game and build a strong team.
