Reviving Sozo in Cult of the Lamb: A Step-by-Step Guide
Cult of the Lamb's unique blend of cute and clever game design has captured the hearts of many players, and one of the most beloved characters is Sozo. Unfortunately, his questline in the base game ends in a tragic demise, but with the Sins of the Flesh update, you can bring him back to life and keep him as a follower.
Meeting Sozo in Cult of the Lamb
To meet Sozo, you'll need to unlock the Spore Grotto, which can be accessed after meeting the mushrooms in the Anura biome. Sozo is a gray and mushroom specialist, and his love for fungi has led to an interesting addition to his head – a tiny fungus. Running a cult of the thing you're addicted to may not be the best business idea, but we can't help but love this cute mushroom buddy.
Interesting Fact: Sozo's love for fungi has led to a unique addiction, and he's not the only one. The Sins of the Flesh update has introduced a new way to interact with your followers' cravings.Reviving Sozo in Cult of the Lamb
To revive Sozo as a follower, you'll need to complete his entire questline. Once that's done, follow these steps:
- Head to Sozo's house in the Spore Grotto.
- Approach his corpse and pick up his mushroom seeds from his head.
- Plant these seeds in your Farm Plot and wait for them to grow.
- Pick the Mysterious Mushroom and watch Sozo come to life as a follower in Cult of the Lamb.
- Gift 5 Menticide Mushrooms to him to make him your follower.
Sozo's Pros and Cons as a Follower
While Sozo is definitely a cutie, he's not the most effective follower. He can't work and can only sometimes be sent on Missionary. However, he's still worth keeping around for his adorable high-pitched noises. Be warned, though – Sozo can eat some of your other followers, which could result in his sudden death or the death of your other followers. Keep a close eye on him to avoid any conflicts.
