Since the introduction of seasons in Destiny 2, the game has featured weekly storylines for players to work through in each season. However, Season of the Wish was an exception, initially intended to end with the release of The Final Shape expansion. Thanks to a four-month delay, players were left without their usual weekly quests, prompting the introduction of Riven's Wishes.

How to Complete Riven's Wishes II in Destiny 2

To complete Riven's Wishes II, players must open seven Ascendant Chests in The Dreaming City. These chests can only be accessed by using a specific item, which can be obtained through various means.

Where to Find Petra Venj in Destiny 2

To find Petra Venj, players must consult The Dreaming City map, as her location changes each week. She should be marked on the map. Players can also look for the vendor for the Hunters' Remembrance Exotic quest, which can help them locate Petra.

How to Find and Open Ascendant Chests in Destiny 2

To find and open Ascendant Chests, players must use a Tincture of Queensfoil in The Dreaming City. These items can be obtained by purchasing them from Petra Venj or by completing Public Events and Patrols in The Dreaming City.

Consuming a Queensfoil Tincture applies the Ascendance buff to players for 30 minutes, allowing them to find hidden paths leading to Ascendant Chests. These paths vary depending on the level of curse each week, but players should be able to find seven chests without too much difficulty.

To start, players must visit the H.E.L.M. and talk to Mara Sov, where they can pick up the new quest line and begin a new story that serves as an epilogue to the Season of the Wish weekly quests.

First Step: Completing Three Rift Generator Public Events

Players must head to The Dreaming City and complete three Rift Generator Public Events in The Strand region. They must also earn 100% in a quest bar by completing various activities in The Dreaming City.

How to Complete Rift Generator Public Events

To complete Rift Generator Public Events, players must defeat enemies approaching a central position in waves. Large enemies will drop charges that can be used to repair the core and keep the event running to the full extent of the timer.

• Prioritize completing three Rift Generator Public Events to progress in the quest
• Activate Heroic Public Events to earn additional progress towards the bar

When players complete Riven's Wishes I and II, they will receive a Wish Token to spend on a piece of gear, such as the Cyrtarachne's Facade Exotic Helmet. Players must check back in for Riven's Wishes III the following week to continue progressing through the quest line.
