Pokémon Scarlet and Violet recently released their second DLC, the Indigo Disk, less than a month ago. This update seemed to give the game a final ending, but the epilogue announcement has added a new layer of excitement to the mix. This is similar to the DLC releases of Sword and Shield, which were also done in two parts.

Will There be More DLC in 2024?

At this time, there is no further confirmed DLC for Scarlet and Violet. The fact that the next piece of content is labeled an epilogue suggests that the adventures in Paldea, Kitakami, and Blueberry Academy are coming to a close. This is consistent with the DLC releases of previous Pokémon games.

Requirements to Play the Epilogue

The trailer warns players that there are two objectives that must be completed to play the epilogue:

• Complete the main stories of The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk
