Pokémon GO Announces Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event

The highly-anticipated event for Pokémon GO has been announced, and fans of the popular mobile game can rejoice. During the recent Pokémon Presents, it was revealed that the first event for March 2024 will be a collaboration celebrating the US launch of the Pokémon Horizons anime. The event, titled Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event, will bring exclusive content, Pokémon debuts, and exciting bonuses to the game.

When is the Pokémon GO Pokémon Horizons Celebration Event?

The event will take place from March 6 – March 11 from 10 AM to 8 PM local time. This overlap coincides with the much-awaited US release of the Pokémon Horizons series on Netflix, allowing fans in the US to enjoy the anime for the first time during this event.

Pokémon Debuts During the Pokémon GO Pokémon Horizons Celebration Event

The Pokémon debuts for this event come from the Paldea region, where the Pokémon Horizons anime takes place. Trainers can expect to encounter the following Pokémon for the first time in the game:

Pikachu is also getting a new costume, wearing Cap's hat, and will know a special new Charged Attack called Volt Tackle.
