The Pokémon Company has officially confirmed that there will be a Pokémon Presents on February 27, 2024, at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET. The presentation will air on the official Pokémon YouTube channel and feature exciting Pokémon news in celebration of Pokémon Day 2024. This is the big announcement that Pokémon fans have been eagerly looking forward to, and we expect to hear about what's next in video games, trading cards, and more.

The Pokémon Company is hosting various live events and celebrations for Pokémon Day 2024. Here's what we know so far:
New York City Celebrations for Pokémon Day
The Empire State Building in New York City will be lit up in Pokémon colors on Pokémon Day 2024 to celebrate the day and get fans hyped for Pokémon Horizons to launch on March 7. Some fans have taken this as a confirmation that we're getting Unova remakes this year, but either way, it'll be fun to see some Pokémon colors in NYC.
Play Pokémon! Event Celebrations
Participating Play! Pokémon stores across the U.S. will be hosting Pokémon Day celebrations on February 27. The exact events vary slightly by location, but will likely include gathering with other Pokémon fans to play the Trading Card Game, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon video games. There will also be promo item giveaways, such as Pikachu Moods figures, TCG merchandise, and other fun Pokémon treats. Virtual Celebrations for Pokémon Day 2024
While we haven't heard much about virtual celebrations for Pokémon Day 2024, the Pokémon social media channels have been full of little reminders that Pokémon Day is coming. This includes a series of Pokémon-inspired art that is being posted every day this week, in the lead-up to Pokémon Day next week.
Pokémon Day 2024 Pokémon GO Events
Pokémon GO fans in New York City will enjoy a local in-game event to celebrate Pokémon Day 2024. This will include special Timed Research tasks that lead to rewards, including a special Pikachu in a party hat. There will also be event-themed PokeStops near the Empire State Building throughout the day on February 27. We don't yet know if and how Pokémon GO fans outside New York will be invited to celebrate, but we'll keep you updated when we find out more.
Pokémon Day 2024 Exclusive Trading Card
Celebrating Pokémon Day 2024 will include an exclusive Pokémon card for fans to collect. Pokémon fans who shop online at The Pokémon Center starting on February 23, 2024, will receive a special Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Paldean Fates Ceruledge card with a Pokémon Day 2024 stamp. This is a gift with purchase and will be available through March 23 or until supplies last. To receive the card, you will need to enter the code pday2024 at checkout.
Pokémon Day 2024 Celebrations in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet will celebrate Pokémon by featuring our favorite critters that are shaped like PokeBalls in mass outbreaks across Paldea. Voltorb, Foongus, and Hisuian Voltorb mass outbreaks started on February 22 and will continue through 4 PM PST on Pokémon Day 2024. Hisuian Voltorb doesn't typically appear in the game, so it's a good chance to log in and grab something you can't normally get.
