Acquiring the Dragon Forms: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Acquire the Domain of the Dragons Painting in Shadow Keep

Start your journey by reaching the Shadow Keep's Main Gate. Take a right from the main courtyard and go up the steps. Turn right and keep going forward until you see a ladder going down on the left side.

• Descond the ladder and hug the wall on your left until you reach a room with another ladder going even further down.
• After descending the ladder, you'll reach a storeroom where you'll need to take the Domain of the Dragons painting.

Step 2: Reaching Jagged Peak

Now, let's set out towards Jagged Peak to meet the Dragon Priestess at the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion. She'll give you a quest that'll lead to cool rewards, including a dragon form.

• Start your journey at the Castle Front Site of Grace located in front of Castle Ensis.
• Head towards the road on the southwest that leads out of the enemy camps and towards the Dragon's Pit Dungeon.

Step 3: Fighting the Ancient Dragon Man

On your way towards the Dragon Pit, you'll be invaded by the Ancient Dragon Man. Fighting him is relatively easy, but be prepared for a tougher battle later on.

• Fight the Ancient Dragon Man and defeat him to obtain the Dragon-Hunter's Great Katana.
• After defeating him, follow the straight path ahead until you see a cavern on your left, which is the entrance to the Dragon Pit.

Step 4: Meeting the Dragon Priestess

Keep following the rocky terrain on the right until you come to a crossroads with a Jagged Peak Drake boss sleeping in the middle. You can either quietly walk past the boss or fight it, your choice.

• Go to the path on the right side, which leads to the Dragon Priestess.
• Once you traverse the path, you'll come across a huge dragon's lifeless body and the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion near its head.

Step 5: Reaching Bayle the Dread on the Summit of Jagged Peak

To reach Bayle, backtrack to the crossroads you've encountered before and keep moving ahead through the M shaped stone arch. This path will have you climb and summit the Jagged Peak.

• Activate the site of grace and continue on your journey.
• Be prepared to face challenges, including fighting dragons and navigating through treacherous terrain.

Step 6: Defeating Bayle the Dread

Get ready to face off against one of the toughest optional bosses in the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Bayle attacks via stomps, breathing fire, and destroying the whole arena with fire and lightning.

• Use bleed or rot-inducing weapons, such as the Dragon-Hunter's Great Katana.
• Timing is crucial, so be prepared to dodge and attack strategically.

Step 7: Acquiring the Priestess Heart and Flowerstone Gavel

After defeating Bayle, activate the site of grace and fast-travel back to the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion. The Dragon Priestess won't be there anymore, but in her place, there will be a Priestess Heart and a Flowerstone Gavel weapon.

Transforming into a Dragon in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

Finally, it's time to transform your character into a dragon! First, remove all your armor and clothing by going into the equipment menu.

Then, choose either the Rock Heart or the Priestess Heart to transform your character into a dragon. The Priestess Heart will turn you into a similar dragon form as the Priestess herself, while the Rock Heart will turn you into a different dragon form.

Remember that once you become a dragon, your character will only revert to human form after dying.
