Palia, a cozy game that launched on Nintendo Switch and PC in 2023, is making its way to the popular gaming platform Steam. To celebrate this release, the team at Palia is offering a unique challenge and gift to fans. Depending on how many people add Palia to their Steam wishlist, the exclusive Frogbert plush will multiply in size.
Palia's Steam Release Date
Palia will be released on Steam on March 25, 2024, just over a month away from the initial announcement. The game is now listed on the Steam website, where players can review basic information about the game and add it to their wishlists.
The Frogbert Plush Steam Wishlist Challenge
The team at Palia wants to build up hype for the Steam release, so they've promised a massive plush version of the frog character, Frogbert, to fans. The twist is that the size of the plush will depend on how many times Palia is added to wishlists on Steam. For every 1,000 wishlists, the Frogbert plush will be multiplied by that number.
At the time of writing, fans have already given the game over 200,000 wishlists on Steam, which means the Frogbert plush will currently be double size. However, if the game reaches 500,000 wishlists on Steam, a massive 5X size Frogbert plush item will be gifted to players on all platforms.
