How to Get Leather in Immortal Life

As you progress through the world of Immortal Life, you'll need to gather various resources to check off quests and build relationships with the villagers. Leather is one of the more elusive items that you'll need to find to rebuild the Guiyun Sect. In this guide, we'll show you how to get your hands on some leather in Immortal Life.

Unlocking the Mine in Immortal Life

Before you can get leather in Immortal Life, you'll need to progress far enough into the story to access the Mine. The Mine is located directly to the east of your house in the Misty Valley, near the Save Crystal. It's marked on the map as Cave Entrance. If you head over there too early in the game, you'll see the opening, but it will be blocked off. Keep working your way through quests and eventually, you'll gain access.

After completing a few initial quests, you'll find Yang Zigin, one of your Guiyun Sect companions, standing outside the cave entrance. This indicates that you can now enter the Mine.

Completing the Combat Tutorial

When you enter the Mine with Yang Zigin, he'll guide you through a combat tutorial. To proceed, you'll need to complete the tutorial by battling a few monsters with your new weapon. Once you've completed the tutorial, you'll be ready to collect leather.

Getting Leather From Monsters in Immortal Life

So far, the only source of leather in Immortal Life is through battling monsters in the Mines. Specifically, you'll need to defeat the salamander-like monsters in the first level of the Mine.

  1. Find the Salamander Monsters: Look for the salamander-like monsters in the first level of the Mine. They tend to hang out in the watery area.
  2. Defeat the Salamanders: When you defeat these monsters, they will occasionally drop leather.
  3. Collect the Leather: If you're lucky, you'll receive leather as a reward for defeating the salamanders.

Important Note: Leather drops are not incredibly common, so be prepared to battle a few monsters before you receive any leather. Additionally, the salamanders don't spawn past Level 1 of the Mine, so you'll need to return to the first level to try again.
