Kleavor Returns in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's Indigo Disk DLC
Exciting news for Pokémon fans - Kleavor, the dual-type Bug/Rock Pokémon, has made a valiant return in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's Indigo Disk DLC. This ancient secondary evolution of Scyther is now available to catch once again, without the need for the Black Augurite evolution item.
A Brief History of Kleavor
Kleavor was first introduced in Pokémon Legends Arceus, where it quickly became a fan favorite. Its return in the Indigo Disk DLC is a welcome surprise, and we're thrilled to see this awesome Pokémon back in action.
Where to Find Kleavor in Pokémon Indigo Disk DLC
If you're eager to catch Kleavor, you'll need to head to the Craggy Canyon Biome on top of one of the mountains. To find the exact location, follow these steps:
- Climb up the mountains with Miraidon or Koraidon as high as you can.
- Look for a plateau area near the border between the Craggy Canyon Biome and the Subtropical Savanna Biome.
- Glide over to the plateau and start searching for Kleavor among the other Pokémon.
Be warned: Kleavor is a rare Pokémon and only spawns in this single area among the Black Augurite formations. It doesn't seem to appear in other areas of the game, and it has a very low catch rate. Make sure to bring plenty of Poké Balls to increase your chances of catching it.
How to Evolve Kleavor in Indigo Disk
Normally, Scyther evolves into Kleavor when exposed to Black Augurite. However, it seems that Black Augurite is not available in the Indigo Disk DLC. You won't be able to find it in the game's store or pick it up as an item.
If you want to evolve Scyther into Kleavor from scratch or Shiny hunt for a Kleavor, your best bet is to use Pokémon Legends Arceus. In Pokémon Legends Arceus, you can use Black Augurite on Scyther to evolve it into Kleavor. You can then transfer your evolved Kleavor to the Indigo Disk DLC through the Pokémon HOME app.
While it's disappointing that Black Augurite is not available in the Indigo Disk DLC, we hope that it will be added in a future update. Until then, Pokémon Legends Arceus remains the only way to evolve Scyther into Kleavor.
