New TM23 Metal Sound Mystery Gift for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Players
Pokémon fans have a lot to be excited about with the release of the Indigo Disk DLC and various in-game holiday events. And now, thanks to an oversight with TM making materials, trainers can redeem a new Mystery Gift for December 2023.
Following the free Master Ball Mystery Gift, players can now claim a free TM23, which teaches the move Metal Sound. This promotion is temporary and will be available until the next update for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, which promises to resolve the issue that makes TM 23 unavailable in Pokémon Scarlet.
The Issue with TM23 Metal Sound in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
TM23, which teaches the move Metal Sound, requires materials from the Pokémon Shieldon to produce. However, Shieldon is not available in Pokémon Scarlet, making TM23 exclusive to Pokémon Violet due to a technical issue. The Pokémon Company has announced that this error will be corrected in an upcoming update to Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, Version 3.0.1, which is scheduled to release in January 2024.
