How to Find and Catch Anubis in Palworld
Palworld players have been buzzing about various Pals showcased by the game's development team before its official release. One of the most anticipated Pals, Anubis, has also become one of the more elusive ones. Catching Anubis requires a combination of the right strategy, resources, and luck.
Where to Find Anubis in Palworld
Anubis can only be found while exploring the world of Palworld in the Twilight Dunes region, an area rich in coal. The location is marked by a boss marker on the map, specifically northwest of the starting point. However, finding Anubis is just the first step – beating it in battle is a far greater challenge.
Anubis stands out as a Level 47 Ground Type Pal, making it a formidable opponent. Its weaknesses lie in its exposure to Grass Type Pal attacks, but it deals extra damage to Electric Type Pals. Therefore, it's crucial to build a team with a strategic combination of Ground and Grass Type moves to take Anubis down.
Catching Anubis: A Daunting Task
Unfortunately, the early-game Pal Spheres and Mega Spheres don't have a high capture rate for Anubis due to their relatively low tiers. To catch Anubis, you'll need to get your hands on the Legendary Spheres, which are only accessible when you reach Level 44 and acquire Pal Metal, Carbon Fiber, and Cement. These resources, however, become more accessible as you progress through the game and tackle its challenges.
Alternative Method: Breeding Anubis
Some players have discovered that it is possible to acquire Anubis through breeding. This method involves catching a Female Quivern, a Male Relaxasaurs, and a Kitsune, then using these Pals to create a Male Jormuntide. Next, breed the Male Jormuntide with a Female Kitsune, and this should grant you an Anubis Pal. Please note that we haven't tried this method ourselves, but it might be worth testing out for players at least at Level 20.
