Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's The Indigo Disk: A Comprehensive Guide

Welcome to our guide on finding all the Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's The Indigo Disk. This DLC brings back many beloved Legendary Pokémon from previous games, and we've got you covered on how to find them in the Paldea region.

Where to Find All Legendary Pokémon in The Indigo Disk

Before you start, make sure you've completed The Indigo Disk and begun the post-game. Outside the entrance to Blueberry Academy, you'll find a character named Snacksworth. He'll teach you about Legendary Pokémon Snacks, how to get them, and provide you with riddles about where to find them.

Snacksworth will give you snacks named after the Legendary Pokémon you can track down. Use the riddles to narrow down the location, as they can be trickier than the ones you need to catch for your Blueberry Pokédex. Keep in mind that these locations are static, and you cannot catch shiny versions of these Legendary Pokémon in The Indigo Disk.

After you catch a Legendary Pokémon, return to Snacksworth after completing a BBQ in the Terarium, and he'll give you another snack.

How to Find Each Legendary Pokémon in The Indigo Disk

Note that you won't be able to catch all Legendary Pokémon using single-player BBQs. Instead, sync up for multiplayer BBQs with other players to find them.

Articuno

When you get the Articuno snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he found Articuno by a lovely pond on the snowy peaks of Paldea.

You can find Articuno to the northwest of Montenevera, at the center of the lake, on a small island. Both Scarlet and Violet version players can get Articuno encounters.

Cobalion

When you get the Cobalion snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how Cobalion led him to a famous waterfall.

You can find Cobalion in the grove, to the northwest of North Province Area Two. Only Violet players can get Cobalion, and Scarlet players will need to participate in group BBQs.

Glastrier

When you get the Glastrier snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he encountered Glastrier in some ruins.

You can find Glastrier to the south of Glaseado Mountain, next to the ruins. Only Scarlet players can get Glastrier, but those with Violet version can participate in group BBQs.

Groudon

When you get the Groudon snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Groudon in a giant cave system.

You can find Groudon in the Alfornada Cavern. You'll have to search around this region to find it, but check your map to see how close you are to the city to help you. If you have Scarlet version, Groudon always appears, but if you have Violet, you must participate in group BBQs.

Entei

When you get the Entei snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he encountered Entei in an area dotted with mines.

You can find Entei in the rocky area to the east of East Province Area Three, to the northeast of Levincia. Only Scarlet players can encounter Entei, but if you own Violet version, you can participate in group BBQs.

Ho-Oh

When you get the Ho-Oh snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how Ho-Oh appeared in the sky above him.

You can find Ho-Oh in the cliffs, to the west of South Province Area Four, before you reach the city, Alfornada. If you have Scarlet version, Ho-Oh will appear, but if you have Violet version, you will need to participate in group BBQs.

Kubfu

When you get the Kubfu snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Kubfu training in Paldea.

You can find Kubfu in the Bamboo Forest, close to Team Star's old Fighting Crew's base, north of North Province Area Two. Both Scarlet and Violet can encounter Kubfu.

Kyogre

When you get the Kyogre snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he spotted Kyogre in the sea.

You can find Kyogre in the Norther Paldean Sea, next to the rocks where you can find the Socarrat Trail. Only Violet players can encounter Kyogre, but if you have Scarlet version, you can party with players for group BBQs to get the Kyogre snack.

Kyurem

When you get the Kyurem snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he encountered Kyurem in a cave underground.

You can find Kyurem to the northwest of the Dalizapa Passage Pokémon Center, on a cliff. Group BBQs are required for both Scarlet and Violet players to find Kyurem.

Latias

When you get the Latias snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Latias in the south of Paldea.

You can find Latias in the south of South Province Area Four, on the beach next to the sea, over from the cliffs. Latias only naturally appears in Violet, but if you own Scarlet, group BBQs are the best way to find it.

Latios

When you get the Latios snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Latios in the northeast of Paldea.

You can find Latios in the western part of North Province Area Two, in the cliffs. Only Scarlet players can naturally encounter Latios, but Violet players can grab group BBQs.

Lugia

When you get the Lugia snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Lugia in the sea.

You can find Lugia to the north of North Province Area One, on a small island in the middle of the sea. Lugia naturally appears in Violet version, but Scarlet players can jump online for group BBQs to get the Lugia snack.

Lunala

When you get the Lunala snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Lunala on the sandy beaches of Paldea.

You can find Lunala to the northwest of West Province Area Two, across the island from the main shore. Only Violet players can naturally encounter Lunala, but Scarlet players can grab group BBQs to find its snack.

Moltres

When you get the Moltres snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Moltres in the western part of Paldea.

You can find Moltres in the Asado desert. You will want to make your way to the northern area of the desert and climb the rocks of the canyon. Both Scarlet and Violet players can encounter Moltres.

Necrozma

When you get the Necrozma snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Necrozma in a stream.

You can find Necrozma on the Socarrat Trail, in the south of this area. You can only find Necrozma if you participate in group BBQs.

Raikou

When you get the Raikou snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he and Raikou were racing up a mountain together.

You can find Raikou at the center of a small river, to the northwest of West Province Area One. Raikou only appears in Scarlet version, but you can grab group BBQs if you own Violet version.

Rayquaza

When you get the Rayquaza snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Rayquaza in the sea.

You can find Rayquaza on the cliffs overlooking South Province Area Three, to the north of the Pokémon Center for this region. You are required to grab group BBQs if you want to find Rayquaza.

Reshiram

When you get the Reshiram snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Reshiram near a town.

You can find Reshiram to the north of South Province Area Three, and to the northwest of East Province Area One. You can only find Reshiram in Scarlet version, but Scarlet players can grab group BBQs to acquire the Reshiram snack.

Solgaleo

When you get the Solgaleo snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Solgaleo near the Pokémon League.

You can find Solgaleo at the Pokémon League, close to the Observation Tower. Solgaleo naturally appears in Scarlet version, and Violet players will need to grab group BBQs to find it.

Spectrier

When you get the Spectrier snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Spectrier in the mountains.

You can find Spectrier in the ruins to the north of The Greater Crater of Paldea, to the west of Dalizapa Passage. Spectrier naturally appears in Violet version, but you can find it in Scarlet if you participate in group BBQs.

Suicune

When you get the Suicune snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Suicune next to a lake.

You can find Suicune on the smaller island to the west of the central one in Casseroya Lake. Suicune spawns in Scarlet version, but you can get group BBQs if you own Violet.

Terrakion

When you get the Terrakion snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Terrakion while rock climbing.

You can find Terrakion to the west of The Great Crater of Paldea, in the rocks, overlooking Team Star's Dark Crew Base. Terrakion naturally appears in Violet version, and Scarlet players will need to participate in group BBQs to find it.

Virizion

When you get the Virizion snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Virizion resting among some trees.

You can find Virizion in the Tagtree Thicket, in the upper corner, to the northeast of this region. Virizion appears in Violet Version, and that means Scarlet players need to play online to grab group BBQs if they want to find this legendary Pokémon.

Zapdos

When you get the Zapdos snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Zapdos at the top of a lighthouse.

You can find Zapdos in the rocks to the northwest of South Province Area Five, before you reach the East Paldean Sea. Zapdos appears in both Scarlet and Violet versions.

Zekrom

When you get the Zekrom snack, Snacksworth will tell you the story of how he saw Zekrom in the sky.

You can find Zekrom in the southwest part of South Province Area One, at the Poco Path Lighthouse. Zekrom naturally appears in Violet, but Scarlet players can grab group BBQs if they want to add it to their Pokédex.
