Pokémon Scarlet & Violet have reintroduced some tricky evolutions, and we're here to help you navigate them. Two of these evolutions are Electivire and Magmortar, both of which require a specific item and a trade with another player.

Evolving Electivire and Magmortar: What You Need to Know

Both Electivire and Magmortar are the final evolutions for their respective lines (Elekid and Magby) and require the same process to evolve. The good news is that the items needed for these evolutions can be purchased using BP, making the process a bit easier.

Where to Find Electabuzz

Electabuzz can be found in the following biomes:

• Craggy Canyon Biome (deep in the caves)
• Snowy Polar Biome (near the border of the Craggy Canyon Biome)
• Subtropical Savanna Biome (small numbers)

Where to Find Magmar

Magmar is a bit harder to find, but can be located in the following biomes:

• Subtropical Savanna Biome (mainly found here)
• Tropical Coastal Biome (found near the Savanna Plaza or the border between the Subtropical Savanna and Tropical Coastal Biomes)

How to Evolve Electivire

To evolve Electabuzz into Electivire, you'll need to follow these steps:

1. Purchase an Electirizer for 250 BP at the School Store in Blueberry Academy.
2. Give the Electirizer to Electabuzz to hold by going into the bag from the Main Menu.
3. Trade Electabuzz with another player using the Link Trade.

How to Evolve Magmortar

To evolve Magmar into Magmortar, follow these steps:

1. Purchase a Magmarizer for 250 BP at the School Store in Blueberry Academy.
2. Equip the Magmarizer to Magmar.
3. Trade Magmar with another player using the Link Trade.
