Evolving Duraludon into Archaludon in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: The Indigo Disk
Exciting news for all Pokémon Scarlet & Violet fans: The Indigo Disk DLC has brought a host of new items and Pokémon to the game, including Duraludon. But did you know that you can evolve Duraludon into Archaludon? While the process might require a bit of effort, we've got the lowdown on how to do it.
The Simple Evolution Process
Evolved through the power of Metal AlloyTo evolve Duraludon into Archaludon, you'll need to get your hands on a Metal Alloy, a brand-new evolution item introduced in The Indigo Disk. This item can be used to instantly evolve Duraludon, and you can add the resulting Archaludon to your growing Pokedex.
Where to Find the Metal Alloy
There are a couple of ways to get your hands on the Metal Alloy. One method is to search for it on the upper levels of the Polar Biome's Chargestone Cavern. Alternatively, you can purchase it for 300 BP (Blueberry Points) at the Blueberry Academy School Store. To earn BP, simply complete quests and work through the story – the more you do, the more points you'll get.
Key Things to Note
- No trading required – simply use the Metal Alloy on Duraludon
- No level restrictions – evolve Duraludon whenever you please
- No time-based restrictions – evolve Duraludon day or night
- No need to have Duraludon hold the Metal Alloy or level up – just use it straight away
Tracking Down Duraludon
If you're eager to catch a Duraludon, make your way to the snowy Polar Biome region. These Pokémon are commonly found in the southern snowy cliffs and can even be spotted wandering around in the Chargestone Cavern. If you're lucky, you might even stumble upon a Duraludon in 5- and 6-Star Tera Raids.
Alternatively, you can transfer a Duraludon from another game using Pokémon HOME and evolve it into Archaludon.
Evolve Multiple Duraludons
If you want to evolve multiple Duraludons, you'll need to head back to the Blueberry Academy School Store to purchase more Metal Alloys.
