Unlocking Heirlooms in Dungeonborne: A Comprehensive Guide
Dungeonborne offers a wide variety of gear, each with its own set of stats and abilities, and are essential tools for surviving the perilous dungeons. In addition to standard equipment, the game also features special gear items called Heirlooms that come with distinct stat bonuses, enhancing your combat efficiency and overall gaming experience. This guide provides a walkthrough on how to craft Dungeonborne Heirlooms and unlock the coveted Legendary Heirlooms.
How to Craft Heirlooms in Dungeonborne
Unlocking an Heirloom involves two key steps: unlocking it and then crafting it. The process starts by spending the necessary amount of Rough White Iron or Ilmenite Ore on Forge Master to unlock an Heirloom. Once unlocked, you can proceed to craft it using relatively few materials.
To unlock an Heirloom, you'll need to gather the necessary resources by dismantling your equipment. To dismantle an item in Dungeonborne, click on the orange Hammer Icon in the Heirloom tab. This action will allow you to break down equipment, yielding Rough White Iron, Ilmenite Ore, Refined Steel Ore, or Star Fragment, depending on the rarity of the item.
How to Unlock Legendary Heirlooms in Dungeonborne
Dungeonborne features three Legendary Heirlooms: The Divine Crown, The Divine Sword, and The Moon Pendant. Acquiring these unique items differs from standard Heirlooms; instead, you'll need to find Heirloom fragments and craft them using either Mithril Tokens or Star Fragments. In the following sections, we'll discuss how to unlock each Legendary Heirloom in the game.
The Moon Pendant
Acquiring the Moon Pendant requires obtaining the Moon Pendant Fragment, found in the Training Room. To receive the fragment, enter the Training Room during a full moon and navigate to the first room with the Altar. You'll see a shimmering object on the Altar, which you must pray to in order to obtain the Moon Pendant Fragment. Subsequently, exit the Training Room and head to Forge Master to have the Moon Pendant Legendary Heirloom crafted for you.
The Divine Crown
To unlock the Divine Crown Heirloom, acquire the Divine Crown Fragment located in the Sinner's End dungeon. Exercise caution, as this is a high-difficulty dungeon; make sure you're well-prepared before proceeding. Navigate to the top-center area of the dungeon, marked on your map, where you'll find a statue of a hand. Interact with it to spawn the Divine Crown Fragment.
After acquiring the fragment, ensure safe extraction from the Sinner's End dungeon, as losing it could result in losing other equipment as well. Once safely extracted, proceed to Forge Master to unlock and craft The Divine Crown Legendary Heirloom.
The Divine Sword
Unlocking The Divine Sword requires a more intricate process. First, you must unlock and craft both the Divine Crown and the Moon Pendant Heirlooms. Once both are equipped, return to Sinner's End dungeon, following the marked location on the map. There, you'll find a locked sarcophagus, which you can open once you've equipped both Legendary Heirlooms. Be prepared to handle enemies in the room before accessing the sarcophagus, which holds the Divine Sword fragment.
After obtaining the Divine Sword fragment, safely extract it from the dungeon. Note that both the Divine Crown and Moon Pendant Heirlooms will be lost, but you can re-craft them if needed. Finally, proceed to Forge Master to unlock and craft The Divine Sword Legendary Heirloom.
Tips for Enhancing Your Heirlooms
Heirlooms are valuable assets in combat, but you can amplify their impact by upgrading or affixing different enhancements to them while crafting. Experiment with these options to take full advantage of these special equipment.
