Destiny 2: Season of the Wish - A Comprehensive Guide to the Wishing All the Best Quest

Destiny 2's Season of the Wish has officially arrived, bringing with it a plethora of exciting content for players to enjoy. One of the main attractions of this season is the Wishing All the Best quest, which sees players working alongside Mara Sov to convince Riven to grant the Witch Queen's final, hidden wish.

Unlocking the Wishing All the Best Quest

To access the Wishing All the Best quest, players must first complete the Final Wish quest. This can be done by finishing the quest that is made available at the start of Season of the Wish. Once the Final Wish quest is complete, players will then be tasked with visiting Mara Sov at the H.E.L.M. After speaking with her, the Queensfoil Censer artifact will unlock, allowing players to access the Wishing All the Best quest.

Wishing All the Best Quest Steps

There are a total of 55 quest steps for the Wishing All the Best mission, with new steps becoming available as players progress through the story and access more activities. Here's a breakdown of the first few steps to get you started:

Steps 1-5

• Step 1: Speak with Riven, who can be found beyond the portal to the right of Mara's throne on the H.E.L.M.
• Step 2: Enter Riven's lair and secure several eggs that have been hidden throughout the area.
• Step 3: Return to the H.E.L.M. and track down the holoprojector to speak with Petra.
• Step 4: Complete Blind Well runs in the Dreaming City to gain progress (higher tiers reward more progress).
• Step 5: Complete the Polysemy mission to retrieve one of Riven's eggs.

Steps 6-50

Steps 6-50 continue the narrative, introducing new characters, quests, and activities. Some notable steps include:

• Step 10: Complete the Tautology quest to progress through the story.
• Step 18: Gather Wishing Glass Shards with your fireteam in The Coil.
• Step 27: Complete the Apophasis mission in Riven's Lair.
• Steps 35-40: Complete an Ascendant Challenge, cleanse a recaptured egg, and speak with Riven about Mara and Osiris.
• Steps 42-50: Continue the narrative, completing various quests and activities, including taking out Vex Oracles in the Spine of Keres, Harbinger's Seclude, and the Gardens of Eslia locations.

Final Steps

The final steps of the Wishing All the Best quest will become available in the next Destiny 2 reset. Mara Sov will reach out to players when she's ready for the final steps of the mission.
