Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth - Completing the Wait for Me Substory

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is an expansive game packed with side activities that keep players engaged for dozens of hours. One of the most time-consuming activities is the Substories, which are scattered across the major locations in every chapter. In this article, we'll guide you through Substory 11: Wait for Me, one of the toughest to complete due to its reliance on memory tests.

Getting Started with Substory 11: Wait for Me

To initiate Substory 11: Wait for Me, you need to reach the beginning of Chapter 3. You'll be in Hawaii, and instead of heading south towards the next objective, take a detour north after completing the Aloha Links tutorial. This will lead you to Sakura Street. Turn left on Sakura Street, and run to the end, where you'll trigger the start of the Substory by passing by an NPC called Obi in his restaurant.

Obi will give you a choice to start the Substory, and we recommend completing it as it only takes ten minutes to finish and can be missed later in the game.

Completing the Wait for Me Substory

To complete this Substory, you'll need to be the best waiter possible for Obi's restaurant. This requires memorizing the menu and getting every order correct. We've broken down each objective to make it easy to follow and find the correct answers.

Seating All the Customers

The first objective is to seat every customer in the restaurant. You'll need to choose between a refined or friendly greeting for each customer. Here's a list of every customer and how to greet them:

Taking All the Orders

The second objective requires you to take orders from every customer. Here's a list of the correct orders for every customer:

Picking the Correct Dishes

The final objective tasks you with picking up the dishes each customer ordered and bringing them to their tables. You'll be presented with three options at once. Here are the correct answers to help you get the best possible ending:

What is the Restaurant Owner's Name?

After completing the Substory's main tasks, a customer will ask for the restaurant owner's name. The correct answer is Obispo. This doesn't affect the outcome of the Substory, but it's nice to know for completion's sake.

Once you've completed this Substory, you can return to the restaurant once a day to pick up a free meal that heals a character for 300 points. This powerful item should be used sparingly, especially during boss fights in the story.
