Catching Critters in Fae Farm: A Beginner's Guide

In the charming world of Fae Farm, fishing is not the only way to catch animals. With the help of your trusty net, you can seize any critter that hops, crawls, or flies in the town of Azoria. But be warned, this mechanic has its tricks up its sleeve.

How to Catch Critters in Fae Farm

To catch critters, simply equip your net tool and press the power button near them. A light blue cloud will hover over the critter when they are within catching range.

Some critters are harder to catch than others, and you might need to sneak up on them by holding the power button before swinging the net. Don't worry, with a little practice, you'll be a pro at catching critters in no time!

Selling Critters for Profit

Once caught, critters can be sold on a market table or home produce stand for a decent profit. Alternatively, you can place them in a Critter Conservatory or Beehive, and they'll leave some produce behind that can be sold for an even bigger profit.

Upgrading the Net in Fae Farm

The net can be upgraded to catch those hard-to-catch critters in your inventory. To upgrade your net, simply speak to Mel in West Town and hand him a couple of florins. Upgrading your net not only makes catching certain critters easier, but it also allows you to catch some otherwise unattainable ones.

Net Upgrades

There are three types of net upgrades available: Sturdy, Advanced, and Master. Each upgrade unlocks a new type of critter to be caught, making it easier for you to build your critter collection.

Critter Observatories: A New Way to Make a Profit

By accessing the build menu on your farm, you can build a Critter Observatory. This building welcomes critters and lets them stay for a while, leaving behind some produce that can be sold. Using the Critter Observatory is a great way to make a profit from exploring the world and catching bugs.

Azoria and Fae Realm Critter Observatories

Both Azoria and the Fae Realm have their own Critter Observatories, which means you'll need two separate crafting stations for each. The Lowlands Critter Observatory welcomes regular critters from Azoria, while the Fae Critter Observatory lets you get more magical critter produce from the Fae Realm's critters.
