Princess Peach: Showtime - Ranking the Newest Costumes

Nintendo recently released a new trailer for Princess Peach: Showtime, showcasing four additional costumes for our favorite princess. These costumes are not just for show; they grant Peach unique abilities that impact gameplay. With a total of 10 costume reveals so far, we've ranked each one from least to most exciting.

What to Expect from Princess Peach: Showtime

Princess Peach: Showtime is scheduled to release on March 22. In the meantime, we're enjoying the various personas Peach has to offer. From cowgirl to mermaid, each costume comes with its own gameplay mechanics and abilities.

Costume Ranking: 10-5

• 10. Cowgirl Peach - This costume has a Jessie from Toy Story vibe, but the mostly brown color scheme makes it less exciting. However, the lasso ability to grab items and enemies adds a fun twist to gameplay.
• 9. Detective Peach - A Sherlock Holmes-inspired look, Detective Peach features a clue-solving gameplay mode. While the costume itself is mostly brown, the cape and cap add a touch of elegance.
• 8. Figure Skater Peach - With Elsa from Frozen vibes, this costume has an ice-blue ensemble. However, the feathers throw off the look. The gliding gameplay sounds exciting, with jumps and spins on the ice.
• 7. Mighty Peach - This futuristic costume has a fun twist, but some other looks are more exciting. The visor is a great addition. With superhuman strength, players will use powerful melee moves to battle aliens.
• 6. Ninja Peach - A departure from Peach's typical pink vibe, Ninja Peach features stealth gameplay with enemies to defeat. The pop of color from the accessories adds a fun touch.

Costume Ranking: 5-1

• 5. Kung Fu Peach - With immaculate hair and makeup, this costume is too much fun. The flaming fists add an exciting element to the kung fu fighting gameplay mode.
• 4. Swordfighter Peach - In her Three Musketeers era, Swordfighter Peach features a great hat and jacket combo. The carefully timed counterattacks in stage sword fighting sound challenging.
• 3. Patissiere Peach - This baking-themed costume is adorable, with braids and a chef's hat. Players will decorate giant desserts in this gameplay mode.
• 2. Mermaid Peach - A fan favorite, Mermaid Peach features pearl earrings and an underwater adventure. Singing and puzzle-solving with local fish make for an exciting gameplay mode.
• 1. Dashing Thief Peach - Channeling her inner Carmen Sandiago, Dashing Thief Peach features a great mask. With sneaking, lock disabling, and a grappling hook, this costume is the most exciting of them all.
