Can You Move Placed Objects in LEGO Fortnite?
Building in LEGO Fortnite can be a fun but challenging experience, especially when you place an object in the wrong spot. Before you start whacking your LEGO bed to bits, you might be wondering if there's a way to move it to a different location.
Can You Move Builds in LEGO Fortnite?
Unfortunately, there is no way to move placed objects in LEGO Fortnite without destroying them. This applies to all types of objects, including chests, beds, crafting tables, walls, roofs, Village Squares, and anything else you can build in the game.
How to Move Builds in LEGO Fortnite (The Not-So-Good News)
To move a build in LEGO Fortnite, you'll have to destroy it first. You can do this by punching it or using a tool. Different materials break faster with specific tools, such as:
- Stone structures: break faster with a pickaxe
- Wood structures: break faster with an axe
When you destroy an object, the components used to build it will drop, but the object itself will not. This means you'll need to rebuild it from scratch using the raw materials. Don't worry, though - you won't lose any resources in the process.
Destroying Builds Quickly in LEGO Fortnite
The worst part about remodeling in LEGO Fortnite is how long it takes to tear down placed objects. However, there's a solution: dynamite. This explosive can be crafted using Blast Powder, which can be farmed from hostile NPCs.
Dynamite and Boom Barrels are the quickest way to tear down large builds or clear out rooms.
Best Places to Farm Blast Powder
We've found two locations that are great for farming Blast Powder in LEGO Fortnite:
The Shores
The Shores are the beach areas in the game. To farm Blast Powder here:
- Wait until nightfall
- Hunt down cowboy and pirate skeletons that spawn
- These skeletons have high drop rates of Blast Powder
Drylands
Drylands is the desert biome. The process for farming here is similar to The Shores:
- Wait until nightfall
- Hunt down pirate and cowboy skeletons
- Don't forget to bring heat-resistance items, as the desert can get scorching hot
