Catching Walking Wake and Iron Leaves More Than Once in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

If you're a Pokémon Scarlet & Violet player, you may be excited to hear that Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are returning as 5-Star Raids this December. However, for those who have already caught these event-exclusive Pokémon, you might be wondering if it's possible to catch them again.

Can You Catch Walking Wake and Iron Leaves More Than Once?

The answer is unfortunately no. If you have previously caught Walking Wake or Iron Leaves, you will not be able to catch them again. These Pokémon are limited to one catch per trainer, meaning you will not be able to catch Walking Wake or Iron Leaves more than once per save file.

Additionally, December 2023 will also feature 7 Star Tera Raid battles with Delibird lookalike, Iron Bundle with the Ice Tera Type and the Mightiest Mark. However, this special version of the Pokémon is also limited to one catch per save.

When Are The Walking Wake and Iron Leaves Raid Battles?

The 5-Star Raid Battles with Iron Leaves and Walking Wake will start on December 25, 2023, and run through January 7, 2024.

• Iron Leaves will be available for players with Pokémon Violet.
• Walking Wake will be available for players with Pokémon Scarlet.
• You can participate in a raid with a player who has the other version and catch that edition's Pokémon.

Tips for Players Who Haven't Caught Walking Wake and Iron Leaves Yet

If you haven't previously caught these Legendary Pokémon, the December Tera Raid event is a great opportunity to grab them. Make sure to participate in the raid event and earn other bonuses, such as item rewards.
