How to Beat Treant in Once Human: Strategies and Attack Patterns

Treant is the second Great One boss in Once Human, a level 15 boss that must be defeated to progress through the game's story. The boss fight can be challenging, but with the right strategy and knowledge of its attack patterns, it can be easily beaten.

Understanding Treant's Attack Patterns

Treant uses a variety of melee and ranged attacks during the boss fight. The boss arena is large, with a ground floor and two upper-level platforms on the east and west sides. The boss shakes its body and releases white orbs that slowly approach the player. These orbs are homing projectiles that can be shot down or lured into a wall to break them.

If the player is on the ground floor, Treant uses its giant legs to smash the ground, causing a massive shockwave that can be jumped over to avoid damage. Additionally, the bound woman on Treant's back will charge and unleash a laser beam that deals significant damage if it consistently hits the player.

Treant's Attack Patterns:

Strategy to Beat Treant

The key to beating Treant is to use ranged weapons and exploit its weaknesses. We recommend hunkering down near the bus on the east platform with your party and using sniper rifles or assault rifles to attack Treant from a distance.

It's essential to keep your level at 13 or above and bring enough supplies to heal yourself and keep your sanity, hunger, and thirst bars full before entering the boss battle. We also recommend joining a Hive or starting matchmaking with other players to have at least one more player to help you.

Boss Immunity and Weak Spot

The boss fight starts when you destroy three vines located at three unique locations in the arena, giving you 120 seconds to assault Treant. However, the boss will return to the immunity phase after the time has passed.

The woman bound on Treant's back is the weakest spot of the boss. Hitting her from the ground is challenging, but if you stay near the bus on the bridge, Treant will be forced to use its wailing woman's attacks only, giving you room to consistently damage its weak spot and quickly kill the boss.

By following these strategies and understanding Treant's attack patterns, you can beat the Treant boss in Once Human and progress through the game's story.
