Helping Pandirna in Baldur's Gate 3: A Step-by-Step Guide
Located in the Druid's Emerald Grove, Pandirna's quest offers players a chance to explore a unique storyline and acquire valuable treasures. However, this task requires careful planning and execution to avoid drawing unwanted attention from the Tieflings.
Discovering Pandirna's Quest
To find Pandirna, players must first locate the locked pantry in the Druid's Grove. This can be done by following a rat in the area or by using the Speak With Animals spell to gather information from the rat. The rat will lead players to the pantry, where they'll find Pandirna trapped against a treasure chest.
Getting Past the Lock
Players will need to have a character with lockpicking skills, such as Astarion, sneak up to the door and unlock it. Alternatively, using the Speak With Animals spell can also lead players to the pantry, where they can find Pandirna.
Convincing Pandirna to Cooperate
Upon entering the pantry, players will be confronted by Pandirna, who's been assigned to guard the location. To convince her to let them enter, players must pass a skill check. It's essential to apply any additional bonuses to this skill check, as failure will draw in the guards, potentially leading to imprisonment.
Players can choose from the following dialogue options to convince Pandirna:- I'm just looking around.
- [Insight] Study her face and try to read her emotions.
- [Persuasion] Don't worry. I'm here to help.
- [Deception] I'm afraid I can't. I've been placed in charge of this area.
- [Intimidation] Hush, girl. Another word and I'll snap your neck.
- Attack her.
Choose either Deception, Insight, or Persuasion to advance the quest forward. The other options will draw the guards in.
Curing Pandirna's Paralysis
Pandirna has been paralyzed by a bad potion, and players must cast Lesser Restoration or Greater Restoration on her to cure the paralysis. These spells can be learned by Druids or equipped by Shadowheart. Any other type of healing spell won't work, so it's essential to use the correct spell.
Acquiring the Rat's Treasure
Once Pandirna is cured, she'll stand up and thank the player, allowing them to roam the pantry freely. However, players aren't allowed to touch anything in the pantry. To get the Rat's treasure, use a character with excellent sneaking skills to get behind Pandirna, unlock the treasure chest, and take the treasure.
Inside the chest, players will find:- A Bloodstone
- Some Gold
- The Pantry Key
This key allows players to get in and out of the location and is placed in the chest because players can get in through the roof.
