Where to Find Dammon, the Smith in Baldur's Gate 3

Dammon can help you acquire some unique armor and advance Karlach's companion quest, but he doesn't stay in one place for too long. As the story progresses, he moves around with the other Tiefling refugees from the Druid Grove. Here's where you can find Dammon in each Act:

• Act 1: The Hollow, nestled within the Druid Grove (X:180, Y:560)
• Act 2: The Last Light Inn, near the barn (X:-32, Y:164)
• Act 3: Forge of the Nine, west to the Elfsong Tavern (X: 1, Y:-5)

How to Get Dammon's Flawed Helldusk Armor Set

Dammon's forge will be unlocked by speaking with him during Act 2 in the Last Light Inn. Bring him materials from the Underdark, particularly the Grymforge, and he'll craft the Flawed Helldusk armor set. This powerful Heavy to Medium Armor set can't be found elsewhere in the game, only crafted by Dammon. Here are the materials you can hand over to Dammon and the items he'll craft:

• Infernal Alloy: Flawed Helldusk Armor (18 AC, Lesser Infernal Retribution, Superior Plate)
• Infernal Alloy: Flawed Helldusk Helmet (Magic Durability, Constitution Saving Throws +1)
• Infernal Alloy: Flawed Helldusk Gloves (Lesser Infernal Touch, Strength Saving Throws +1)
• Devilfoil Mask: Orthon Explosive (3d6 Fire damage, Inflicts Burning for 4 turns)

Karlach's Companion Quest: The Hellion Heart & Infernal Iron

Karlach's infernal engine heart needs attention, and Dammon can help. By bringing Infernal Iron to him, Dammon can cool down our fiery companion. Infernal Iron can be found in the following locations:

• Blighted Village: Find an Infernal Iron from a chest in the north house's cellar.
• Zhentarim Hideout: In a trapped chest behind a pair of locked doors to the north of the hideout.
• Shattered Sanctum: Located in the Goblin Camp's far north, behind Dror Ragzlin.
• Underdark's Grymforge: Accept and complete Stonemason Kith's quest by passing History, Investigation, and Perception checks.
• The Mason's Guild: On a workbench in the courtyard of the Mason's Guild in Act 2. The Mason's Guild is located southwest of the Last Light Inn and just east of the House of Healing.
• Gauntlet of Shar: In an Opulent Chest in the vault room behind a DC30 locked door near Balthazar's workshop.
• Flymm Cargo: Found on the floor in the basement in Act 3.
• Killing Steelwatch robots in Act 3: Loot the Steelwatch corpses to get Infernal Iron.
