WoW Classic: Season of Discovery - A Fresh Experience with New Dungeons and Abilities
World of Warcraft's latest season, Season of Discovery, has brought about significant changes to the classic experience. With new abilities, a level 25 cap, and fresh content, players can enjoy a revamped Classic WoW experience. In this article, we'll explore the available dungeons in Season of Discovery Phase 1, including their locations and recommended level ranges.
Navigating the Dungeons in WoW Classic: Season of Discovery Phase 1
With the level cap increase, some dungeons are currently inaccessible to players. However, we've compiled a list of available dungeons in Phase 1, including those that might be too challenging in their current state. Please note that some dungeons are located in Alliance or Horde territories, requiring you to venture through enemy lines to access them.
- Ragefire Chasm - Cleft of Shadow, Orgrimmar (Level 15-20)
- Wailing Caverns - Northern Barrens, The Barrens (Level 17-23)
- The Deadmines - Westfall (Level 15-25)
- Shadowfang Keep - Silverpine Forest (Level 22-30)
While some dungeons might be too challenging, you can still attempt to complete the early wings of Scarlet Monastery, such as The Graveyard, which may yield decent loot drops. However, these will likely be tackled by players in Phase 2.
Joining Groups for Dungeons in WoW Classic: Season of Discovery
Unlike Retail WoW, finding groups for dungeons requires using the Looking for Group chat. This chat is not enabled by default, so you'll need to join the channel manually.
To join the Looking for Group channel, follow these steps:
- Right-click on the general tab of the chat box and go to Settings.
- Go to Global Channels and select the Looking For Group channel.
- Click Join, and you'll see messages from other players looking for group members.
When browsing the Looking for Group channel, look for messages with the [4. LookingForGroup] handle. These messages indicate that players are seeking group members for dungeons. If you fit the required role, you can message the player by clicking their name and whisper to them. If they have space and want you to join, you'll receive an invitation to join the group.
