Completing A New Directive Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Guide
Disney Dreamlight Valley's A New Directive quest can be seen as a form of therapy for Eve, helping her to find a new sense of purpose in Eternity Isle. However, unlike a regular therapy session, this involves a bit of exploration and some fun activities along the way. In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of completing the A New Directive quest and helping Eve find her footing.
Feeding the Monkeys
To start, you'll need to feed two monkeys in Disney Dreamlight Valley. You can find these mischievous creatures in Ancient's Landing. Here's how to feed them:
- Chase the monkeys around the map three to five times until you can approach them.
- Feed the monkeys any 3-star meal or higher to complete this step. If you want to give them their favorite food, you can cook a Banana Split at the nearest cooking station.
Discovering Lost Objects in the Swirling Sand
The next step is to find some lost objects in the Swirling Sands of Ancient's Landing. Here's what you need to do:
The Swirling Sands are the light brown rocks floating around Ancient's Landing. Look for the BnL Picnic Blankey and the BnL Trashcan Planter, which can usually be found in The Docks.Unlike previous quests, you don't need to upgrade your Royal Hourglass or break the black floating rocks. Simply focus on breaking the smaller, light-brown Swirling Sands to complete this part of the quest.
Gathering Flowers and Jade
The next step is to gather four types of flowers and some Jade. Here's what you need to find:
- Orange Birds of Paradise, found in The Docks and The Courtyard.
- Yellow Birds of Paradise, also found in The Docks and The Courtyard.
- White Birds of Paradise, found in The Docks and The Courtyard.
- Red Luminescent Flowers, found in The Overlook and The Ruins.
- Jade, found in The Courtyard and the Overlook.
Once you've gathered all the required items, it's time to move on to the final step.
Taking Photos with Eve and WALL-E
The final step in completing A New Directive is to take three photos with Eve and WALL-E. This will allow the two characters to be reunited in Eternity Isle. Simply take the photos, and you'll have completed the quest!
